Excellent LG Round Footed Gathering Splint Basket Double-Wrapped Rim - Country For Sale

Pictured is an early large, round splint gathering basket offered for sale. The basket is well-proportioned &has a sturdy hooped handle which extends all the way to the base. The underside has a wrapped footed basedesigned to slightly elevate the basket. It measures 12 3/4" in overall height, 7" in height to the rim, 11 3/4" indiameter, & dates from 1905 - 1930. It's in excellent condition with no breaks whatsoever & is double-wrappedaround the rim. A beautiful basket with great eye-appeal for everyday use or decorating.....
