Excellent Colemanite Cluster from the U.S. Borax Mine, Boron, California For Sale

COLEMANITE:U.S. Borax open pit, U.S. Borax Mine, Boron, Kern Co., California, USA. Dimensions: 6.0 x 5.0 x 3.2cm, small cabinet. This is a great cluster of large, lustrous and translucent, well-formed Colemanite crystals up to 3cm across from the classic U.S. locality for the species. Several sharp, colorless to whitish, almost very pale yellow, crystals make up this attractive cluster of modified crystals. The Colemanites have essentially no damage save a small bruise on one of the larger crystals. This was probably collected by James Minette in the heyday here and ultimately ended up in the Robert Reynolds collection and his label comes with the piece.Buyer pays USPS Priority Mail shipping and any sales tax.
