Excellent Allen point, found in north-central Wyoming, Knfie River Flint:

This wonderful Allen point was found in Johnson County, Wyo., many years ago. It is named for JImmy Allen and the type site is south of Laramie, Wyo. The specimen measures 2 3/4 inches in length by about 1/2 inch wide. Artifacts of this type are Transitional Paleo and date to 8500 -7500 B.P. It is made of a heavily patinated Knife River Flint and is no-brainer authentic. Thanks for looking!
