Ethereal Vintage Madonna & Child, Veil & Antique Crown. This is one of the prettiest sets I've come across that includes all the necessary pieces for French perfection. The statue is signed and has knicks and surface cracks that are stable and commensurate with age.
The wedding crown with tiny fabric flowers. Some flowers are missing and some are about to fall (they are attached with wire that is so old it breaks easily).
The large statue is 15" tall and 10" wide.
The wedding crown comes in a cardbord box from 'Maison Petit' in Cholet, France. Size of the box : 30.6 x 23 x 6.3 cm or 11.8 x 9 x 2.36 inches.
If you are looking for perfection, this is not for you. It has knicks and chips commensurate with age but to me this is what makes this whole piece uniquely Vintage French and gorgeous.
This is from my personal collection and hard to let go.
