When Jacob Schwenk was born on 6 July 1759, in Albany Township, Berks, Pennsylvania, United States, his father, Heinrich Schwenck, was 33 and his mother, Maria Barbara Moser, was 30. He married Catharine Weaver in 1789, in Northumberland, Pennsylvania, United States. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 1 daughter. He died on 21 October 1851, in Mifflin Township, Columbia, Pennsylvania, United States, at the age of 92.
