Envylope 2.0 by Brandon David & Chris Turchi Experience the original Envylope 2.0 magic gimmick, crafted by renowned magicians Brandon David & Chris Turchi. This close-up trick delivers powerful street illusions with a comedic twist, perfect for performers seeking professional-grade mentalism effects.
High-Quality Paper Construction Made from durable paper material, this magic prop ensures smooth handling and reliable performance. The lightweight design enhances portability, making it ideal for on-the-go magic shows and impromptu street illusions.
Perfect for Ages 14 and Up Recommended for users aged 14+, this magic trick offers an engaging challenge for young magicians and seasoned performers alike. Designed with intuitive mechanics, it’s accessible yet impressive for all skill levels.Effect Routine
1. The Setup: The performer introduces a small white envelope, hands it to a spectator to examine, and then stores it in their back pocket.
2. The Selection: A spectator freely selects any card from a standard deck, signs their name on the face, and replaces it into the middle of the pack.
3. The Transformation: Right up until the final moment, the magician can spread the cards naturally. Then, without any suspicious movements, the entire deck visually morphs into the white envelope right in front of the audience. [1, 2]
4. The Reveal: The performer opens the envelope to reveal the spectator's signed card inside. The missing deck of cards is then discovered resting inside the performer's pocket where the envelope was originally placed. Everything can be fully examined at the end.
Key Improvements in 2.0
- Enhanced Material: The gimmicks are constructed from a more robust, long-lasting Tyvek material rather than traditional paper.
- No Elastic Threads: The mechanical design has been streamlined to rely on a magnet-enclosed structure, eliminating fragile elastic components.
- Better Handling: Magicians can now spread a few cards on top of the deck right up to the exact split second of the transformation. It also allows you to cleanly show both sides of the envelope.
- Instant Reset: The trick resets almost immediately, requiring only the addition of one extra card to set up for the next performance.
