Overview:
Elson\'s Presents: DC Super Heroes Comics is one of the more obscure and collectible DC promotional publications from the early 1980s. DC Comics produced these 96-page full-color reprint digests exclusively for Elson\'s Gift and News, a retail chain commonly found in hotels and airports — meaning they were never available through standard comic shop distribution. All six issues in the series share the same iconic DC heroes cover illustration but contain different interior reprint stories, and the entire print run was limited to Elson\'s retail locations. Because of their narrow distribution and non-traditional retail channel, copies in collectible condition are genuinely uncommon today, making them a sought-after find for DC Bronze Age and promotional comics collectors.
