Please review the photos carefully for detailed views of the intricate icing details and remaining cubes. These are intended for display only and sold strictly as a vintage collectible kitchenalia item, not for consumption due to age.  During the mid-20th century, predominantly the 1940s through the 1960s, hostesses embraced elaborate high-tea table settings. Artisans and specialty confectioners meticulously hand-piped royal icing flowers, animals, and seasonal motifs directly onto standard sugar cubes. Local companies, such as Edna Frances in Minneapolis, crafted these miniature works of sugar art for special occasions like bridal showers, holiday gatherings, and afternoon teas. Today, these delicate creations are highly sought after by collectors of vintage kitchenware, ephemera, and confectionery history.
