Item description: Set of 3 original Tiffany Glass & Decorating Co. vaseline opal shades. These shades were standard TG&D Co. shades that appear in early catalogs & marketing materials. They were also popular in early commercial & residential interiors, and (50 years ago) we would find them around Chicago with their original fixtures. Each measures about 5\" x 5\", perfectly period & appropriate for early Tiffany lighting fixtures, especially if you don\'t want to spend 5K of a set of 3 matching iridescent Favrile shades. These are beautiful in their own right, which is why LCT used these by the thousands in his early days. 2.25\" fitters only show expected light/flat chips of no consequence. These were outsourced by TG&DCo., but I could never figure out who actually made them. Stunning when illuminated, as pictured. We are a family business committed to customer satisfaction, selling for over 25 years on . Still unpacking/discovering treasures from our business in Chicago that we closed after 911. Many great items were never even washed, inventoried, or priced before we closed our doors. All sales are final, as is, and as pictured. Please ask any questions, as we do not accept returns. Cleaning out a 3- story house and 2 story coach house. If we make a listing mistake, we will make it right. Thank You!
