A wall relief made of mixed metals with real pre-Columbian pieces, originating from Mexico in the early 1940s. This piece showcases Mexican culture and craftsmanship, making it a unique and authentic collectible item. LC used fragments of Ancient terracotta head fragment, likely from the Classic Veracruz / Remojadas tradition, Mexico, ca. AD 300–900. Reddish-brown ceramic with large ear ornaments and traces of black surface material, possibly natural bitumen (chapopote/asphalt), a known decorative material used on Veracruz figurines. Shield is prominent green stone earspool/ear ornament whose form may show Mezcala or Guerrero stylistic influence.
