EXCELLENT WWII US M6 LEATHER SHEATH FOR THE M3 KNIFE - OBSCURED MAKER MARKING For Sale

Excellent original early WWII US M6 leather sheath for the US M3 fighting knife. Sheath was de-militarized post WWII by having its maker markings obscured for sale on the civilian market. Sheath was originally manufactured during WWII by L&C, Lyon & Coulson of Buffalo, New York. The sheath is identified as a L&C WWII M6 sheath by its unique characteristic - there are holes punched at each end of the belt loop cut-outs to prevent the leather from tearing under stress or pressure, which was a signature detail distinguishing L&C sheaths from other WWII M6 makers.
Sheath is in excellent used condition with slight marks and discoloration from storage. See photos for additional information on condition. No international sales.
