EDISON STANDARD MODEL D CYLINDER PHONGRAPH, CYGNET HORN, K REPRODUCER For Sale

This is an Edison Standard Model D phonograph. The model D with 2 and 4 minute gearing was a great improvement over the model B & C. It was introduced in 1908 with a restyled case and Edison eliminated the end gate.
This particular Model D is in very nice condition with a quiet smooth running motor. I fitted it with a new brass mandrel bearing. The bedplate may have been re-pinstriped years ago but somebody did a very nice job, if this was the case, but still has some wear. I have included a very nice Model K reproducer which was rebuilt with new rubber gaskets. Lastly, I fitted this machine with a very nice reproduction, repainted horn. The entire crane assembly is also reproduction. The horn looked so nice, it just made sense to add it to this machine!
This will be meticulously packed in 2 boxes and insured to value.
