Rare Dom Pérignon / Moët & Chandon Champagne Cooler with Tall Floor Stand – Martin Szekely Design

An unusual and impressive Dom Pérignon champagne/wine cooler designed by renowned French designer Martin Szekely, complete with its tall pedestal floor stand.

The cooler features a dark charcoal/black exterior with exposed pewter interior and the classic raised Dom Pérignon shield reading:

The interior rim is engraved “Dom Pérignon,” and the underside bears the Martin Szekely signature along with additional maker/pewter markings.

Unlike the more commonly encountered loose Dom Pérignon ice buckets, this example is displayed on a substantial tall pedestal stand with a broad weighted circular base. The complete piece stands approximately 34.25 inches tall, making it an impressive floor-standing display for a wine cellar, home bar, restaurant, hotel, or champagne collection.

Measurements: Overall height approximately 34.25\". Cooler approximately 8\" high with an approximately 8\" opening. The cooler is removable from the stand.

The stand also bears a personalized inscription dated July 21, 1967, reading “With Love / Bobby-Mickey-Jannie.” This appears to be a commemorative/personal inscription and is mentioned for completeness; it is not being represented as the manufacturing date of the Martin Szekely cooler.
