An exceptional Coyamito Agate specimen from Chihuahua, Mexico featuring incredibly fine lavender fortification banding, a natural central cavity and substantial portions of its original matrix.
This larger collector specimen displays layer upon layer of soft lavender, periwinkle gray, dusty lilac, cream and translucent chalcedony. The intricate bands form dramatic angular patterns around the central opening, creating an almost architectural appearance.
Unlike a completely polished slice, much of the natural exterior remains intact. The contrast between the beautifully exposed agate face and rugged host material makes this an especially striking display and collector specimen.
Coyamito Agates are highly sought after among agate collectors for their intricate fortification patterns, unusual pastel coloration and tremendous variation from one nodule to another.
