1920s Hollowphane Sailor Hat hanging light with diffuser and refinished hardware pack. Complete set.
Unlike most sailor hat shades this one has a center diffuser. Which makes the shade itself distribute and glow light properly as and when it was made.
Those without this functionality shines light straight down like there\'s an empty space. Which means there\'s a direct hole in the bottom of the light
Having the diffuser also brings back the 100% vintage purpose of this lite.
The light does not come with a socket, just the glass itself and diffuser.
Disassembled in 3 pieces for safe shipping and to install the diffuser.
Once put together the diffuser sits inside the lite and does not come out once installed, you simply slide your hand up through the diffuser to change the light bulb. And the diffuser sits back down in its position. Is a fixed piece once installed.

You\'ll have to buy an electrical socket and base which can be purchased at any hardware store, Amazon, , etc as the same size bases have been used for decades and will fit fine. Chain base, pendulum base, fixed base, etc all share the same size.
