Commander Antique/Vintage Toaster For Sale

The Commander toaster is a unique clamshell type toaster manufactured by Mattatuck Mfg. Co. of Watertown, CT. As can be seen in the video it is fully operational and comes with it\'s Operating Instructions. The instructions show a 5 step procedure to make toast. Step 1, plug in the toaster to an electrical outlet. Step 2, place the electrical power switch to the \"on\" position. Step 3, press the lever on the front of the toaster which will open the doors. Step 4, close the door manually or by turning the large knob on the front of the toaster to the desired light/dark setting. When the timer is completed the doors will open all the way to allow the removal of the toast. Step 5, when done, switch the electrical power switch to the off position and manually close the doors.
