Seller's note: Unlike most Early American Glass patterns, this one is exquisite and has great detail.
Circa 1885 EAPG non flint glass Odd Fellows goblet. It is considered a scarce pattern. There is a lot to describe.
1. It is bell shaped2. 1/2" clear band upper rim.3. Band of tiny thumbprints with light stippling.4. Band of small loops and darts.5. 3 shields with three interlocking rings, scrolls of leaves & flowers.6. A narrow belt with a buckle.7. A very ornate stem and plain base.
Period glass fluoresces under the black light (see picture #6).
There are three (3) available.
Each is about 6" high x 3 1/4" at the top.
They are all in excellent condition. There is no damage. The glass is crystal clear, not cloudy, stained, sick, or purple/sun. The upper rims are smooth to the touch. These goblets display exceptionally well.
