They eat what they take as they go out to play or to work. For the evening meal the mother may cook rice and some vegetables to eat with their dry bread. When the meal is ready, the food is put in a great wooden bowl like the one in the picture. It is set in the middle of the floor. Flat cakes of bread are put round the bowl.
