Chief Blue Horse was an Oglala Lakota who served as Chief ofthe Wagluhe Band of Oglala Lakota, warrior, statesman and educator. Blue Horseis notable in American history as one of the first Oglala Lakota U.S. ArmyIndian Scouts and signatory of the Treaty of Fort Laramie in 1868.
