THE SIGNATURE SERIES: When Boyd produced its premium Signature Series open salts in covered dishes, they completely bypassed the diamond logo. They instead cast a flowing, cursive "Boyd" logo directly into the base of the glass mold.

In 1978 in Cambridge Ohio, Bernard C. Boyd and his son started Boyd’s Crystal Art Glass making hand molded glass, "glass made the old fashioned way...a man and a mold, one piece at a time", they retired in 2014.
