Single sleek sophisticated Art Deco chrome metal bud vase made by the Chase Brass and Copper Company in the 1930\'s in a sleek Machine Age skyscraper style.
This vase is made of shiny chrome metal with three tubes attached at varying heights to the tall central tube, resembling the set backs on an Art Deco skyscraper. The tubes are hollow and sealed on the bottoms to hold flowers. The round bases have a precise stepped design in the middle, and the underside has a single screw and is stamped \"CHASE\" with their Centaur logo.
It stands 9\" tall on a 3.5\" diameter round base, and weighs 1/2 lb.
The Chase Brass and Copper Company that was headquartered in Waterbury, Connecticut came out with an Art Deco line of specialty chrome products in the 1930\'s created by such leading designers as Russel Wright, Rockwell Kent and Walter von Nessen. This skyscraper vase came out of that line and is highly collectible. It would make the perfect addition to any Art Deco or Modernist decor.
