Offered by Julieta Pipes is a distinctive Caminetto Moustache 08.28, presented in unsmoked condition and accompanied by its original Caminetto “La Pipa del Baffo” sleeve.
This is a wonderfully characterful Caminetto interpretation of the squat Bulldog form. The substantial bowl features deep, craggy rustication contrasted by smooth briar panels along the shank. Its low, muscular proportions, paneled shank and gently bent stem give the pipe a tremendous amount of character and presence.

The stem bears Caminetto’s distinctive white mustache logo.
Most importantly, this example is unsmoked. The chamber shows no evidence of tobacco having been burned in the bowl. Detailed photographs of the chamber, rim, stem, nomenclature and overall finish are provided so the buyer can carefully evaluate its condition.
The pipe is accompanied by its original Caminetto sleeve bearing the famous inscription:

Caminetto occupies an important place in the history of Italian pipe making. The marque was founded by Giuseppe Ascorti and Luigi Radice, and became known for bold interpretations of traditional shapes, distinctive finishes and the unmistakable mustache emblem.
This is an especially appealing Caminetto for the collector: an unusual Moustache 08.28, strong and legible nomenclature, original sleeve, and an unsmoked example that has been preserved rather than placed into service.
Condition: Unsmoked and previously owned. Excellent overall appearance. As with any previously owned collectible, minor signs of storage, handling or age may be present.
