I’m glad to present you my traditional Whetstone. Quarried from the mountain in Cambodia. Originally precise location is unknown. This stone is a rough stone around 200 grit. Interestingly, when the slurry coming out, the grit breaks down into 500 to 600. Hardness level 3.8. Feels like hard stone and doesn’t absorb much water. Offers a very enjoyable friendly sharpening experience. In short, it’s a rough stone but capable of semi refining. Fast with precision for correctional effective use and for the very first stage of sharpening process.
