Here is a blown glass sculpture of a fox done by artisan Venetian
glass masters! The island of Murano is famed for the most beautiful glass creations
in the entire world - and this is one of them! At one time the
glass masters held immense power and wealth and this
permitted them to keep developing and inventing new
ways to work and improve their wares. In the mid century period of the twentieth century
the Venetian glass masters had another renaissance!
The idea of abstraction lent itself to modernist works of art! Here, a royal blue fox with a vibrant red nose
looks absolutely ravishing! Graceful, sinewy lines abound
and this work is a feast for the eyes. The fox is renowned for it's cunning. It is one of the smartest
of animals and this sculpture captures that brilliance! The artistry of this piece is striking! Presents magnificently.
Foxes are scarce subjects in glass work and this one is particularly rare.Excellent Condition! Only the lightest age wear to the glass.Perfect for your NY penthouse, Palm Springs atomic ranch,
or UK summer home!
