For sale is an authentic piece of 20th-century American restaurant history. This 5.5-inch vitrified china small plate/saucer was manufactured by the Onondaga Pottery Company (Syracuse China) for the historical CC Inn restaurant chain. This example was from the Portland Oregon location.
The plate is in excellent vintage condition for its age. The central graphic remains clear and legible. There are no chips, cracks, or structural repairs. Please review the photos carefully to assess surface glaze and rim condition. There are utensil scratches associated with typical restaurant use.
Collector Note:
This item is sold strictly as a genuine, 1930s historical artifact for educational, archival, and museum-level collection purposes. It represents a documented piece of mid-20th-century commercial advertising and American vitrified pottery manufacturing history.
Note: the graphic and rim pattern are clearly “under glaze”, as seen in the photos, demonstrating this piece’s authenticity.
