This 4 oz. amber glass bottle retains its original paper label and appears full, with contents rising above the printed label line. The bottle comes complete with its original yellow cardboard box and corrugated insert, a scarce survivor of mid‑century drugstore packaging.
The label lists the active ingredients - magnesium sulphate (U.S.P. Epsom salts), sodium sulphate, potassium sulphate, potassium chloride, and citric acid - and promotes the product as an “agreeable aperient.” Kruschen was widely marketed in the early to mid‑20th century as a household laxative, and intact boxed examples are increasingly hard to find.
A fine addition for collectors of apothecary bottles, patent medicines, or vintage advertising packaging, this piece displays beautifully with both bottle and box present.

This bottle is in excellent vintage condition and may be unused. It retains its original screw cap, which has not been removed, and the contents remain full to above the label line—suggesting this example may be unused (NOS), though this cannot be guaranteed. The amber glass shows no chips or cracks. The original paper label is intact with a small tear at the bottom edge (approx. 1/16–1/8 in.) and some light age‑related patina. The box is complete with its corrugated cardboard insert, showing expected surface wear, light soiling, and patina from age. A red “X” is marked in grease pencil on the top flap, and “Kg/75” (or similar) is written on the back in black grease pencil. The hinge area of the box shows minor wear but remains intact.
