This listing is for a hand made copper cream jug, made on Guernsey Island in the English Channel; specifically off the French coast of Normandy. It features a bulbous body, round neck, and flat brass strap-style handle. Used primarily to hold milk or cream, it could also be used as a decorative pitcher or vase in a country setting. The jug could certainly benefit from a thorough cleaning and polishing.
It measures 7.5” x 5” and shows dings as well as patina consistent with age and use.
