Echoing the mystery-band formula of Scooby-Doo and Josie and the Pussycats, the series followed teen pop group Butch Cassidy (lead vocals/lead guitar hearthrob), inspired by David Cassidy of the Partridge Family, Merilee (tambourine-seen playing guitar in \"The Scientist\"), Stephanie (bass), and Wally (drums), plus Wally\'s dog Elvis. By day they toured as chart-toppers; offstage they served as undercover agents for the World Wide Talent Agency.
Mickey Dolenz -drummer and frequent lead singer of The Monkees-brought breezy rhythm to Wally pictured on the left of the cel. . Pictured on the left is his signature, a standout for Saturday-morning collectors or fan of the Monkees . Dated 1973 by Hanna Barbera Productions.
Pictured on the cel are Wally with Elvis the dog, Steffy, Merilee, and Butch . Please note: The two characters on the right are stuck to the background paper. I have not tried to separate for fear of ruining the paint.
