Bulldog Brand 1998 three-blade stockman folding knife. Genuine stag handles with nickel silver bolsters and shield. Blades etched Bulldog Brand and marked Hammer Forged Solingen Germany. Tang marked 1998 Hand Made with bulldog figure. Still in the original box and wrapping. Made in Solingen, Germany.
Closed length about 3 3/4–4 in. Primary blade about 2 3/4–3 in. Three blades total (clip, spey, and pen/sheepfoot). Appears unused. Original red Bulldog Brand box with Chattanooga, TN office address on the end panel.
Stag shows strong natural figure. Nickel silver bolsters and brass pins. One blade carries the full Bulldog Brand etch with decorative scrollwork. Classic Bulldog Brand construction from the 1998 production period.

Description & History
Bulldog Brand Knife Company was established in the late 20th century and marketed traditional slipjoint patterns produced in Solingen, Germany. The brand emphasized hammer-forged blades and hand assembly by master cutlers. Knives were distributed from a Chattanooga, Tennessee office, as shown on the original boxes. The distinctive red box with the bulldog logo and “Tough as a Pit Bull” slogan became a recognizable feature of the brand.
This 1998 example is a three-blade stockman with genuine stag scales, nickel silver bolsters, and the classic shield. The blades are marked Bulldog Brand Hammer Forged Solingen Germany. The tang carries the 1998 date, Hand Made stamp, and bulldog figure. One blade features the full decorative Bulldog Brand etch. The knife remains in its original red box and wrapping, consistent with new old stock from the period.
Bulldog Brand knives from the 1990s are collected for their solid Solingen construction, stag handles, and clear year markings. Unused examples still in the original box are less common than used pieces and appeal to collectors who prefer condition. The combination of the 1998 date, three-blade stockman pattern, and original packaging places this knife within the traditional German slipjoint production offered under the Bulldog Brand name.
