MacDonald Postmodern Metal & Glass Salt & Pepper Shaker Set - RAREThis hard-to-find salt and pepper shaker set circa 1995 features glass cylinders with an etched swirl design, anodized aluminum caps topped off with chrome (salt) and brass (pepper) balls which unscrew to fill the shakers, and black rubber bottoms. The saltshaker is approximately 4.5" high, including the chrome ball. The pepper shaker is approximately 4" high, including the brass ball. Both are approximately 1 5/8" in diameter.
They are in excellent condition with no sign of scratches, chips, or cracks.
The artist's hallmark (BRM) is very lightly etched on the glass near the bottom of each shaker along with the date 1995. It can be seen better on the saltshaker (please see photos).
A fine example of Postmodern design!
