📌 Item Description Original vintage membership badge for the Women’s Section of the British Legion, made by the renowned insignia makers J.R. Gaunt & Son of London.Beautifully finished in gilt brass with vibrant royal blue enamel, featuring the Legion’s lion head emblem at the centre. Marked “BRITISH LEGION” and “WOMEN’S SECTION” — this dates the badge to before 1971, when the organisation was granted its “Royal” prefix.Stamped on the reverse:
