The world of Bridge Engineering is perhaps a small one - but their achievements are used by and held in awe by billons of people the world over.
Robinson and Steinman designed and managed the construction on some marvelous bridges - works of art.
Each year they sent out a Christmas card highlighting one of their recent projects.
And each year David Steinman wrote a unique verse to include in the cards.
I was fortunate enough to acquire a collection of some of these Christmas cards - and I have enjoyed them immensely, but now I have to consider downsizing as I am as old as these Christmas cards are . . . !!
