1988 — Plate No. 5238This plate is the only authorized original edition of a work by the Palekh artist Gleb Lyubimov, inspired by Alexander Pushkin’s poem “Ruslan and Lyudmila.”The artist created the original design in the tradition of the famous Palekh miniature-painting style, preserving all the shades of color and using genuine gold, especially for this edition.This plate is part of the first series of collectible plates titled “Russian Fairy Tales,” produced for the first time in the Soviet Union at the Vinogradov Porcelain Factory.
