For sale is a stunning, highly detailed vintage pair of Venetian-style Blackamoor figural candlesticks. Cast in heavy metal (likely bronze or spelter) with an elegant multi-patinated and polychrome painted finish, these matching left-and-right facing figures make an exquisite statement for Hollywood Regency, Baroque, or traditional eclectic decor.
Each figure depicts a stylized attendant in ornate, plumed headwear and multi-colored traditional attire, raising a sculpted, leaf-motif cornucopia torch aloft to serve as a single candle receptacle. They stand elegantly on matching scrolled, baroque-style openwork pedestal bases.
