Authentic Bisbee Campbellite Slab – Campbell Mine, Bisbee, Arizona (47.50g)
Offered here is an authentic cut slab of genuine Campbellite, the legendary lapidary and collector material sourced exclusively from the historic Campbell Shaft in Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona.
This piece displays bright, metallic native copper dendrites tightly locked within the classic silicified matrix. Campbellite is an iconic, defunct-locality material that came primarily from deep underground levels of the Campbell Shaft. Because the underground workings are permanently closed and flooded, authentic rough like this has become increasingly difficult to find.
Locality: Campbell Mine / Campbell Shaft, Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
Material: Campbellite (Native Copper in Calcite/Silica Matrix)
Weight: 47.50 grams

The piece is photographed dry under direct lighting to capture the metallic luster and matrix detail. You will receive the exact specimen shown.
