Bird of Paradise Figures Chinese Hand Carved Cherry Red Amber Resin Lot 2 VTG
Pair of vintage Chinese hand-carved bird of paradise figures in translucent cherry red amber resin. Each carving depicts a single bird with detailed feathering. Both figures come with separate fitted wooden display stands.
The material is believed to be Bakelite or Catalin-style resin, but has not been independently tested. One figure has a missing or damaged beak and a repair to the tail feathers. Both figures and their wooden stands show surface wear from age and handling. See photos for condition and details.
