Numerous, dark emerald green Dioptase crystals are heavily scattered on gemmy to translucent, colorless to whitish Calcite crystals on this attractive and colorful piece from the Kaokoveld Plateau in Namibia. The big beautiful Dioptase crystals are well-formed, translucent to dark and range in size from 0.5 to 1 cm in size and are placed so that the 1 to 1.5cm, scalenohedral Calcite crystals peek out from between the Dioptase crystals for great composition and contrast!
