From the Tourmaline King Mine, Pala Mining District, San Diego Co., California (2022-2023 production)A nice chunky barrel of beautifully terminated green elbaite tourmaline with a small layer of pink on the bottom creating the classic \'watermelon\' zoning on the bottom c-axis. Nice lustrous termination, and a tiny side car for some extra character. This piece is from 2022-2023 production at the King Mine, which has been producing world-class tourmaline (with a few long breaks) since the late 1800\'s.
