SPECS: Vintage printed fabric scouting patches from Andhra Pradesh, India, dating from 1980 through 1982. The collection consists of 9 individual patch designs remaining connected in 3 fabric strips. Designs feature architectural illustrations, scouting emblems, and event information. Sizes vary.
CONTENTS: 9 vintage Bharat Scouts & Guides camporee patches consisting of 3 connected 13th Camporee patches from Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, dated February 1980; 4 connected 14th State Camporee patches from Sangareddy, Andhra Pradesh, dated January 1981; and 2 connected 15th A.P. State Camporee patches from Medchal, Rangareddy District, dated February 1982. All 9 patches pictured are included, with the three fabric strips remaining intact!
CONDITION: These vintage scouting patches are in preowned condition with visible wear consistent with age, handling, and storage. Fabric shows discoloration, yellowing, creases, fraying, and loose threads along the edges. Some printed designs show fading or uneven coloration. The backs show exposed stitching and threadwork from manufacture. All patches remain connected in their respective strips and have not been separated into individual pieces.
