Real photo view of the C.J. DeBar storefront, a striking Art Deco facade in black with the DeBar name in large stylized lettering across the top, framed by horizontal speed lines. The two display windows are lettered \"Insurance,\" \"Offices,\" \"Renting,\" \"Real Estate,\" \"Notary Public,\" and \"C.J. DeBar Realtor,\" and the entry door between them is numbered 557. The windows are filled with property photos and business cards for local tradesmen, including J.R. McDonald floors and Morrison Bros. builders supplies. Posters in the windows advertise 1935 films at the Bellevue theater, including Mark of the Vampire, No More Ladies, and Hooray for Love with Gene Raymond, dating the photograph to circa 1935. At left is the edge of a neighboring grocery window with canned goods and price signs for salmon, beans, and peas, and at right a brick storefront with a partial sign. Unused, with a pencil notation reading \"Bellevue, PA\" on the back and an AZO stamp box. A great piece for collectors of Bellevue, Pennsylvania topographical postcards, Art Deco storefronts, or 1930s movie theater advertising.
