This is a breathtakingly beautiful "Our Lady of Perpetual Help" Religious Icon on a very Heavy Polished Granite Slab with the stand also made of the same stone propping up the piece. It is very heavy at approximately 12lbs.
The piece is presented in variations of blue and gold tones.TheByzantine-style icondepicts theBlessed Virgin Maryholding theChild Jesus.Mary’s gaze is directed at the viewer, conveying hercompassion,intercession and protection. The Child Jesus clings to Mary, symbolizing both humanity and divinity.
The piece measures 12" high by 10" wide with a width of 6" with the granite stand attached on the back of the piece.
It is in beautiful condition with very minor wear. The lower left corner of the piece has a small chip on the back which does not affect the square front face of the piece or its presentation.
