Beautiful Modern Great White Shark Tooth 2.1\" , great serrations, from 14\' GWS For Sale

This is a beautiful tooth from a modern Great White Shark. I obtained this tooth from well known shark researcher Andrew Fox, son of Rodney Fox, during a visit to Australia on a Great White Shark cage dive. The tooth came from Andrew\'s personal collection and was from a 14-foot Great White taken in Port Lincoln, SA. I got this tooth about 25 years ago.
Photos 1 and 2 are the back of the tooth, which is slightly concave. Photos 3 and 6 are the front, convex tooth face. Photos 4 and 5 show the long measurement. It measures from the base of the root to the tip of the tooth at just over 2.1 inches (54 mm). The tooth itself measures 1.75 inches from the top of the root to the tip. The tooth enamel is a very consistent ivory-tinged white. The root is a slightly more yellow/white, typical for teeth of this age. The hole in the middle of the root on the tooth face is natural; it is a vascular foramen. The serrations are in great condition from the top of the root to the tip of the tooth. The root measures approximately 1.375 inches across at the base. Overall a very nice specimen with an interesting back story. The tooth will ship in a small display case (not pictured).
