Selling at wholesale. Traditional design known as Parang. Wooden batik mask from Java, Indonesia. Perfect condition. The design is high detail, applied by using wax to block the white portion then dipping the entire mask in brown dye and later removing the wax to expose the white design. Very complex and time consuming method. The masks vary but average 11.5 inches from top to bottom, 9 inches wide and the depth is 4 inches. Short and secure mounting loop in the center of the back side that can be easily added to in length, or used as is. The back is also batiked with sun designs. Very beautiful with very detailed high quality workmanship. Slight variation in color possible as they are hand made. Bulk purchase of this mask is possible upon inquiry.
