Beautiful Bassina disjecta (Perry, 1811), also known as Bassina (Callanaitis) disjecta and the Wedding Cake Shell.

This attractive collector specimen features strongly developed concentric sculptural ridges with projecting spines and a warm cream coloration. Both valves are present and remain paired together; they can be gently separated, as shown in the photographs, allowing the exterior and interior of both valves to be examined.
