A 8x10" vintage photo from a large collection of hundreds of hand-signed photographs that we acquired from the estate of a collector named Al. From an analysis of his collection it appears that he collected the vast majority (or all) of these in person or via mail.

The photo shows Morse in a thoughtful pose, hands clasped, wearing a tweed jacket in a studio portrait from his Fugitive era. He has boldly signed the front in blue ink: "For Al - All the best! Barry Morse."
This photo comes from a large collection of hundreds of hand-signed celebrity autographs acquired from the estate of a dedicated collector named Al, to whom this photo is personally inscribed. A wonderful piece for fans of classic 1960s television, The Fugitive, or Space: 1999.
Historical Notes
Barry Morse\'s portrayal of Lt. Gerard chasing Dr. Richard Kimble (David Janssen) made him one of the most recognizable faces on American television - the series finale of The Fugitive in August 1967 was watched by 78 million people, the most-watched TV episode in history to that point. Morse went on to star as Professor Victor Bergman in Gerry Anderson\'s Space: 1999 (1975-1977) alongside Martin Landau and Barbara Bain, cementing his status among science fiction fans. A classically trained RADA graduate, Morse ultimately performed in over 3,000 stage, film, television, and radio productions across a seven-decade career. He remained active into his late 80s, appearing in the 2006 miniseries Space Odyssey, and passed away in London in 2008 at age 89. Signed material from Morse remains sought after by collectors of both classic television and vintage sci-fi memorabilia.

Print analysis
This is a glossy silver gelatin photographic print of a portrait taken during Barry Morse\'s Fugitive era in the mid 1960s. The print itself appears to be a later fan-mail or convention era print, likely produced in the 1970s or 1980s, which was common for actor promotional photos used for autograph signing.
