Here\'s a hand-crafted cab fashioned from natural gold-laden ore. A good friend of mine made it. For aficionados of native gold products, maybe this will fit into one of your projects. If not satisfied, I offer a fullrefund once product is returned. A larger parent rock, chosen for richness and gem-worthiness, was converted into this spacious, gold quartz cab. This is natural gold quartz, NOT simulated or synthetic (man-made) gold quartz. It comes from California.
A few years ago, one of my regular clients used smaller cabs to do inlay for custom knife handles. Another artisan friend incorporated them into drinking cups. Acreative soul might add them into any number of projects. It would appear this type of material is not only in very short supply, but high in demand. Such gold-enriched cabs aren\'t likely to lose value through the coming years.During the great California gold rush, artisans fashioned the richest grades of ore mined from the Mother Lode into highly-decorative ornamental crafts and one-of-a-kind jewelry objects like cane and knife handles, walking sticks, snuff boxes, match safes, watch fobs, pistol grips, stick pins, rings, brooches, pendants, bracelets, et al. During the 1800s, the sky seems to have been the limit for creative applications. With the involvement of a precious metal, the effect of using GQ as decorative inlay is rather elegant.
As the operator/sole proprietor of Gold of Eldorado, I actively mined gold for 18+ years. Beginning long ago, in a past life, perhaps, something in the golden mystique of this rare, precious metal attracted me to it. Searching for Au (gold), working with it in it\'s multitude of forms has become a life-way. This passion is what fuels my desire to bring these new discoveries to your attention. If, like myself, you\'re an avid fan of gold, please let me know of any specific sizes, colors, or cabochon-shapes you might be interested in. I may be able to accommodate you with a custom-made creation.NATURALgold quartzfrom California
