BENNINGTON POTTERS ~ Early Matte White Stoneware Rectangular 40 Oz. BAKER (12x5)
Description of item...Here we have a beautiful early model matte white rectangular BAKER (model #1873) designed by David Gil for BENNINGTON POTTERS of Bennington, Vermont.It measures approx. 12" inside long (14" outside) x 5" inside wide (6" outside) x 2" deep, can hold up to 40 liquid ounces. It is in very good maintained (lightly used) condition with no chips or cracks or crazing, no damage noted...appearing to have had less than normal use. The bottom is marked, "bennington potters ~ bennington vermont ~ * 1873 ~ dg (david gil)."Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, pattern discontinued, production run from 1966-1996. This item weighs approx. 2-3/4 lbs., add 2-1/4 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
