This world-renowned race photography collection is chock-full of hard-to-find images—most of which have not been reproduced as prints or posters. This is the limited-run leather-bound edition in its original cloth-covered slipcase. #101/500.At Speed is a fascinating tour through twenty years of Alexander\'s motorsport photography career from the 1950s through the early 1970s. Organized into five chapters that cover every stage of racing from race prep through post-finish, the book\'s sparse text complements page after page of fantastic images and demonstrates the insider\'s knowledge of the sport that Alexander gained as part of the traveling \"circus\" that toured from track to track each season.The book is printed on a substantial, smooth, low-gloss stock. Book measures 14.5\" x 17\" X 1\" (37cm x 44cm x 3cm).Book is in good condition with clean, bright, sharp pages, except for a few have some dust marks on them, especially toward the front and back of the book. Pages in the last third or so of the book show a soft bump along the upper spine. The cover is clean and sharp overall, with softly bumped and rubbed corners. The binding feels tight, but the book lies flat pretty well, so it\'s not as tight as new.Slipcase shows sun fading around the edges, more pronounced on one side than the other, and some wear on the fabric cover near the bottom.
