Antique ca 1920s Arrow Brass Copper Canoe Boat Ashtray Catchall Tray Desk Decor

This is an incredibly cool piece of 1920s history. Made by Arrow Brass, it’s a heavy, mixed-metal boat sculpture originally designed as an ashtray, but it makes the perfect modern desk tray or catchall for keys, pens, and coins.The design is really striking—the main body is a warm brass with clean geometric lines, trimmed beautifully with copper accents along the edges and the center deck. On one side of the hull, the "ARROW" maker's name is cleanly stamped right into the metal.Because it’s roughly a century old, it has a ton of authentic character. The interior reservoir has some great green verdigris peaking through the ridges, and the flat brass surfaces show a beautiful, honest patina with some minor scuffs, light surface scratches, and tiny spots of oxidation from age. The underside is completely flat with two original factory holes and shows plenty of surface aging, proving it’s the real deal.It’s got a great, solid weight to it and measures about 11 ¼” long by 2 ½” wide. If you love unique antique tobacciana or just want a piece of functional Art Deco decor that tells a story, this boat is a stellar find.I've taken close-ups of all sides, the stamping, and the underside so you can see the exact condition.
