Antique Danbury, Connecticut multi-view postcard, dating to approximately 1901–1907 based on the undivided-back format and early U.S. postcard markings.
The front features a wonderful collage of historic Danbury scenes, including the Court House, a tribute to Danbury’s famous hat-making industry, the Old Baptist Church / M.E. Church / City Hall / Soldiers’ Monument, and a lively view of the Midway at the Danbury Fair. The fair image is marked “Photographs by Borman.”
The reverse is unused and features an ornate early “POST CARD” design with the wording “Authorized by Act of Congress, May 19, 1898,” along with 1-cent domestic / 2-cent foreign postage instructions.
There is a handwritten name in pencil along the lower front edge, appearing to read “Nora Walsh” or similar.
Condition: Good antique condition for its age, with expected corner and edge wear, light toning/soiling, and minor surface wear. No stamp or postal cancellation. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition.
